Menu items: This column lists all the functionalities or options available on the main program menu.

Shortcut: This column shows the current shortcut key assigned to each menu item.

Assigning a new shortcut key: To assign a new shortcut key, double-click on the shortcut cell next to the desired menu item and type in your preferred key combination.

When you assign a shortcut combination that is already assigned to another Click 2 Crop function, the program will display an alert window asking if you want to reassign the shortcut. This means the new shortcut will be assigned to the function you selected, and the previous function will lose its shortcut.

Removing a shortcut key: Double-click on the "X" in the shortcut cell to remove the currently assigned shortcut key for that menu item.

Reset Shortcuts to defaults...: This button resets all the shortcut keys to the default settings defined by the application.

Save Menu to file...: This button allows you to save the current set of shortcut key assignments to a file for future use.

Load Menu from file...: This button allows you to load a previously saved set of shortcut key assignments.

Save Changes: Saves any changes you made to the shortcut key assignments.

Cancel: Closes the panel and discards any unsaved changes.

Tips for assigning shortcut keys

Some shortcut key combinations might already be assigned to system-wide functions. The software will prevent you from assigning conflicting shortcuts.

Use shortcut keys that are easy to remember and comfortable to use.

Try to maintain consistency with other applications you use. For instance, most applications use Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste.

By effectively using the keyboard shortcut panel, you can significantly improve your workflow and become more productive within the application.
