Adding Presets

Adding preset

Click 2 Crop allows you to create your own presets and save a set of settings for optimal use in each case and use them simply by selecting from the appropriate menu.

To save the current state of the controls in a new preset:

Select Add Current State as Preset... from the Preset menu.

This opens Adding Current State as Preset Panel

The top right of the panel shows a short list of options included in the preset. At the left, you can enable or disable groups of settings.

When you open this panel, it ticks groups of settings that are "on" (i.e., different from the default values). For example, if you use text captions, there will be a tick mark beside the Remember text captions option.

If a group setting is switched off, the controls in that group are not changed when the preset is applied.

If a group setting is enabled, the controls are changed to the same state as they were when the preset was created.

For example:

If a preset was saved with the Logo option group unticked, and you apply this preset while the program has the Logo option turned on, the logo will be kept active (i.e., the state of Logo controls will not be changed).

Preset name field: The program generates a short string describing the most basic preset options for the preset name. To make your future work easier, we recommend editing the name and changing it to something meaningful and readable.

Assigning Keyboard Shortcuts to Presets:

Click 2 Crop allows you to assign keyboard shortcuts to new presets for easier access.

The Enter Shortcut keys if needed field at the bottom left corner of the panel allows you to assign a shortcut key combination to the preset you are creating.

Click on the field and type in your preferred key combination. Use "X" button to remove the shortcut.

When you assign a shortcut combination that is already assigned to another Click 2 Crop function, the program will display an alert window asking if you want to reassign the shortcut. This means the new shortcut will be assigned to the function you selected, and the previous function will lose its shortcut.

Click Add Preset to save the new preset with the assigned shortcut key.
